Welcome to Fat Merman Designs. This shop is run in good faith by one human trying to make cool things without drowning in chaos. By using this website or buying anything here, you agree to the terms below. They’re written in real human language so you actually understand them.
Using This Website
By browsing or purchasing from this site, you agree not to do anything malicious, illegal, or disruptive. Don’t hack the site, don’t try to break things, and don’t steal the content. Pretty straightforward.
Products & Availability
All products are printed on-demand when you order them. This means:
- I don’t keep inventory
- Products may change or be removed at any time
- Colors and print placement may vary slightly from what you see online
I do my best to show accurate previews and descriptions, but on-demand printing always has small natural differences. More on that below.
Print & Color Disclaimer
Because everything is made-to-order using different production partners, small variations can happen. These include:
- Slight differences in print placement (within normal industry tolerances)
- Minor color shifts due to monitor differences or garment material
- Very small variations between items if you order multiple products
These differences are normal for print-on-demand manufacturing and are not considered defects.
However, if something arrives damaged, wildly misprinted, stained, torn, or truly incorrect, that’s a problem — and I will take care of it. Just email me with photos so I can file a reprint/refund request.
Pricing
Prices are listed in USD. I may update prices, run discounts, stop discounts, or fix an obvious typo if one appears.
If the site accidentally sells a hoodie for $3, that’s clearly a mistake. I’m good, but not “destroy my business margins for fun” good.
Order Process
Here’s how ordering works:
- You place an order
- The system sends it to a production partner through Printify
- They print and ship your item
- You get tracking details once it’s shipped
If something goes weird, email info@fatmerman.com. I’ll help get it sorted out.
Shipping
Shipping times vary depending on your location and the print provider used. Once an order goes into production, it cannot be canceled or modified. Print providers work fast — sometimes faster than humans can catch up.
Once a package is handed off to the carrier, delays are outside my control. I’ll help where I can, but teleportation is still in development.
Returns, Refunds & Problems
Because everything is printed on-demand, returns and exchanges are not accepted for things like choosing the wrong size, changing your mind, or deciding you don’t like the color after all. Please check the size chart before you order — it helps.
But if your order shows up:
- damaged
- defective
- misprinted beyond normal tolerances
- missing items
- or just flat-out wrong
I’ll take care of it with a replacement or refund.
Per Printify’s policy, issues must be reported within 30 days of delivery. That’s their official rule, not mine. If you contact me close to that window, I’ll still do everything I can — just don’t wait weeks or months. The sooner you reach out, the easier it is to fix.
To submit an issue, email me at info@fatmerman.com with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the problem
You do not need to return the item. And don’t reach out to the print manufacturer — I handle that part for you.
Accounts
If you create an account, keep your login info safe. You’re responsible for any activity that happens under your account.
Intellectual Property
All designs, branding, product descriptions, and website content belong to Fat Merman Designs. You may not copy, download, resell, or reproduce them for your own merch or projects without permission.
Sharing links? Yes.
Reposting product photos? Also yes.
Printing your own knockoff hoodie? Absolutely not.
Limitation of Liability
I’m not liable for indirect, incidental, or cosmic-level damages (lost profits, emotional distress, or attacks by rogue octopuses).
My responsibility is limited to repairing, replacing, or refunding items that are defective or incorrect.
Third-Party Services
This site uses reputable third-party platforms, including:
- Printify and its print partners (fulfillment)
- Stripe, PayPal, Klarna, Affirm (payment processing)
- Email service providers (newsletter)
They each have their own terms and policies. I’m not responsible for their outages or weirdness, but I’ll do my best to help if something goes sideways.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. If I do, the “Last Updated” date will change. Using the site after updates means you accept the revised terms.
